The Luxsin X8 is built around eight Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC chips arranged in a true dual-mono parallel architecture, with four DACs operating in parallel per channel. The left and right channels are fully isolated in power supply, circuit layout and signal path, reducing crosstalk and interference while improving dynamic range, signal-to-noise ratio and low-level detail retrieval. A dedicated high-speed buffering and clock-domain distribution stage keeps all DACs precisely synchronized for stable imaging and accurate spatial presentation.

Its digital platform is based on Luxsin’s custom Digital Audio Core, combining a dual-core HiFi-5 DSP with ARM architecture for advanced real-time audio processing. This platform supports AI-assisted PEQ tuning, allowing the user to tailor the sound profile through app or web control with high precision, while also enabling advanced DSP functions and future firmware-based feature expansion. The DAC section is additionally protected by dedicated shielding covers to reduce interference and help maintain thermal stability during long-term high-resolution playback.

The headphone amplification stage uses multiple OPA1612 op-amps together with TPA6120A2 high-current drivers to deliver high output power with low distortion and strong linearity. The X8 also features automatic headphone impedance detection across all headphone outputs, with smart gain matching that operates outside the main signal path so it does not affect audio purity. A fully separated, ultra-low-noise linear power supply with independent digital and analog sections further improves background silence, stability and overall sonic cleanliness.
