The FiiO BTR17 is a flagship-grade portable Bluetooth DAC and headphone amplifier that brings desktop-class performance into a compact, pocketable device. At its core are dual ESS ES9069Q DAC chips working in fully balanced configuration, combined with the Qualcomm QCC5181 Bluetooth 5.4 chipset to support modern hi-res codecs including LDAC, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless, delivering near lossless wireless audio quality.

For wired use, the BTR17 is equipped with a 3rd-generation 16-core XMOS XU316 USB controller that enables ultra-stable low-latency transmission and supports up to 768 kHz / 32-bit PCM, native DSD512 and full MQA decoding in USB DAC mode. Driver-free UAC1.0 mode ensures broad compatibility with gaming consoles and other devices.

The analog stage is based around THX AAA-78+ amplification, offering powerful, low-distortion output with excellent control and dynamics. In Desktop mode with external power, the balanced 4.4 mm output can deliver up to 650 mW + 650 mW into 32 Ω, while the 3.5 mm single-ended output offers up to 280 mW + 280 mW into 32 Ω, making the BTR17 suitable for both sensitive IEMs and demanding full-size headphones.

A 1.3-inch 240 × 240 colour IPS display provides clear visual feedback of volume, gain, codec, sampling rate, USB mode and battery status, while the physical volume wheel and side buttons allow intuitive control on the go. The device supports a 10-band PEQ via the FiiO Control app and PEQ web interface, letting users tailor the sound precisely to their preferences.

With its aluminium alloy chassis, leather-style rear panel, multi-mode (Phone / PC / Desktop) switch and robust power management, the BTR17 is designed to integrate seamlessly into portable, desktop and in-car setups.
