The  LTA  ZOTL  10  Mk.II  amplifier  is  an  output  transformer-less  (OTL)  amplifier  using  patented  David  Berning  technology.  It  runs  tubes  in  a  unique  way,  thus  consumes  very  little  power,  gives  off  very  little  heat  and  the  tubes  last  a  very  long  time.  There  are  quite  a  few  reviews  of  this  particular  amp  in  the  web,  as  well  as  reviews  of  its  integrated  sibling  the  Z10,  for  one  to  get  familiarised  with  what  this  amp  is  all  about,  a.k.a.  an  amp  with  solid  state  like  deep  and  fast  bass,  holographic  mid-range  and  clear,  dynamic  highs,  with  zero  noise  to  boot. The  amp  was  bought  from  the  authorised  European  dealer  in  December  of  2020.  It  was  the  latest  version  with  the  upgraded  "resistor  ladder"  remotely  controlled  stepped  attenuator  which  adds  substantially  to  the  overall  transparent  character  of  this  amp. Tubes  are  not  included,  but  the  tube  compliment  is  comprised  of  very  common  tubes:  2  x  12AT7/ECC81,  2  x  12AU7/ECC82  &  4  x  EL84.  According  to  the  manual,  the  output  tubes  (EL84s)  do  not  need  to  be  matched.  Mind  you  the  tubes  will  last  for  a  very  long  time  (almost  forever...),  in  this  amp.  The  amp  also  comes  with  eight  (8)  Iso-Acoustics  Iso-pucks  (4  for  under  the  amp  and  4  for  under  the  power  supply)  instead  of  the  generic  (throwaway)  feet.  The  outboard  power  supply  which  houses  the  transformer  is  wired  for  European  voltage  but  can  easily  be  changed,  should  one  require  so.  The  screw  on  the  back  of  the  power  supply  box  seems  to  have  shifted  a  bit  during  transport  of  the  amp  to  me  originally,  but  this  is  just  cosmetic.  The  original  power  supply  cord  (to  connect  the  power  supply  to  the  amplifier)  as  well  as  an  Apple  remote,  to  control  the  volume,  are  also  included.  The  amp  will  ship  in  its  original  box.
