The PH-5.2 phono stage is a fully discrete analog design engineered to optimize signal integrity and minimize noise across both MM and MC cartridge operation. It provides adjustable gain and loading parameters, along with selectable equalization curves (RIAA, Decca London, American Columbia), each with an optional Enhanced mode extending frequency response up to 50 kHz. The signal path is kept entirely analog, utilizing high-quality relays for switching without introducing digital interference, ensuring minimal signal degradation and accurate preservation of micro-detail, dynamics, and tonal balance.

The unit features a redesigned low-noise power supply and a mechanically optimized chassis constructed from sandblasted anodized aluminum to reduce electromagnetic interference and structural resonance. This results in improved dynamic stability, lower background noise, and enhanced resolution. The architecture allows independent storage and recall of MM and MC cartridge settings, enabling precise system matching. Overall, the PH-5.2 is engineered to deliver high linearity, extended bandwidth, and consistent performance under complex signal conditions.
